Online Charges Payments

This online payment system is provided by Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch.

The Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch may update these terms from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out on this portal.

Please ensure that you are aware of the current terms.

The country of domicile of Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch is India and legal jurisdiction is Coimbatore, TamilNadu, India.

Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this facility.

All payments are subject to the following conditions:

– The description of items is specific to you when you log in with your user id and unique password.

– All Charges quoted are in Indian Rupees.

– Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch reserves the right to change the charges at any time.

– Your payment to Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch account, will be credited within two working days.

– We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct account of Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch, due to quoting an incorrect account number or incorrect details by you, neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the Netbanking/credit/debit card supplier for any reason.

– If the Banker/card supplier declines payment, Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention.

– It is for you (the Customer) to check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.

– In no event, Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch will be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, computer virus, malware, inability to use, or the results of use of this site or any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.

Refund Policy

Refunds, if applicable, at the discretion of the Management, will only be made as per the sources of Net Banking/debit/credit card used for the original transaction. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Policy shall require Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch to refund the Charges (or part thereof) unless such Charges (or part thereof) have previously been paid by the customer through online payment mode and the same has been credited into the accounts of Indian Medical Association Coimbatore Branch and has the approval of the Management for refund.

Terms of Payment

1. Charges, Taxes applicable for online payment through Payment Gateway will be borne by the customer.

2. In respect of any failed transactions of any of the Customers, processed through this service, the amount will be refunded after deducting the transaction charges

– Renewal letters will be sent to you one month before the date of Renewal.

– Renew your membership in time to avoid discontinuity.

– Coverage of your cases will be from the date of Renewal only.

– If fail to review in time, you have to pay the full amount for renewal and renewal will be carried out from the date of receiving your application with Demand Draft. If any case occur during the discontinued period, PPLSSS won’t take up the case.

3.Hospital Protection Scheme of PPLSSS of IMA TN

Hospital Protection Scheme (HPS) website link : www.pplsss.com

– FEATURES OF HPS

The Scheme will take up notices / cases against the hospitals enrolled and pay the compensation awarded against hospitals but not against the individual doctors.

The hospitals are requested to ensure that all the consultants and duty doctors are enrolled as members of PPLSS Scheme so that entire notice / case can be taken and fought collectively.

The Hospitals should be members of IMA Nursing Home Board.

4. Family Benefit Scheme of PPLSSS of IMA TN

Family Benefit Scheme (FBS) website link : www.pplsss.com

– FEATURES OF FBS

Scheme shall reimburse Rs. 1.2 lakh for the Hospitalization expenses incurred in that year for the member, spouse or children below 18 years and not exceeding Rs. 60,000/- per Hospitalization for the members or their nominee.

The member has to inform the scheme office about the hospital of his / her choice for elective surgery before admission.

Member has to inform the scheme office within 24 hours of admission in emergency cases.

Claim must be made within 30 days after the discharge.

Original bills and discharge summary are to be produced along with the claim form.

Eligible to claim reimbursement for treatment had within Tamilnadu.

The interval between one claim to another is 180 days.

N.B. Renewal of subscription without break is essential.

4. Family Security Scheme of IMA TNSB

– Greetings from FSS of IMA TNSB

We are happy to inform you that the Family Security Scheme of IMA TNSB was launched during 239th State Council Meeting at Erode on 18.07.2004.

This Scheme is aimed to help the IMA members family in the event of death of a IMA Doctor who is a member of this Scheme.

– WINDOW PERIOD : SALIENT FEATURES OF THIS SCHEME

As per the decision of FSS General Body Meeting w.e.f. 01.04.2009. Note : From 01.04.2010 upper age limit is only 60 years, above 60 years are not eligible to Join. Eligible to join the Scheme only after six months of becoming life membership.

This Scheme is operatable after six months of becoming the member of the Scheme i.e. then only the death amount will be paid to the family. The member die earlier i.e. within six months after joining the Scheme no amount will be given to the family.

Rs. 190/- to be paid by each member for every death of a member.

As per the decision of the GBM of the FSS held at Nagercoil on 27.01.2008. Maximum target fixed is Rs. 15 Lakhs to be given to the families of the deceased members, according to the number of enrolled members in the Scheme at the time of death of a member Rs. 190 x Number of members in this Scheme at the time of the death of a member will be paid to the family.

This Scheme will be run by a Separate Wing of IMA TNSB, managed by Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary and Management Committee Members. FSS applications must be send through the IMA Local Branch Secretary.

If a member wishes to cancel after the payment is made to Indian Medical Association there shall be no refund of the payments made. Cancellation and refund of the membership fees is not applicable after realisation of the payment.
