FBS Family Benefit Scheme

FEATURES

Scheme shall reimburse Rs. 1 Lakh for the Hospitalization expenses incurred in that year for the member, spouse or children below 21 years and not exceeding Rs. 50,000 per Hospitalization for the members or their nominees.

The member has to inform the scheme office about the hospital of his/her choice for elective surgery before admission.
Member has to inform the scheme office within 24 hours of admission in emergency cases.

N.B. Renewal of subscription without break is essential

FSS. Family Security Scheme

Launched on 18.07.2004 at Erode at 239th State medical Conference .It is aimed to help the IMA members family in the event of death of a IMA member of this scheme.

Non Refundable deposit from members of this scheme are as follows:-

1. Less than 30 years - Rs.1000/-
2. 31 to 40 years Rs.1500/
3. 41 to 50 years Rs.2000/-
4. 51 to 60 years Rs.2500/-
5 .61-70 years Rs.3000/-
6. 71-80 years Rs.50000/- (6.1He should be life member of IMA for the past 5 years..6.2 Window period Six months. This provision no.6 is terminated on 31.03.2007)

Hospital Protection Scheme

Features

The Scheme will take up notices /cases against the hospital enrolled and apy the compensation awarded against hospitals but nor against ths individual doctors.

The Hospitals are requested to ensure that all consultants and duty doctors are enrolled as members of PPLSSS Scheme so that entire notice/case can be taken and fought collectively.

The Hospitals should be member of IMA Nursing Home board.
